Canadian Women take GOLD! The men were pretty hot in their nurse outfits but, fortunately, the British men won the drag queen competition. A truly shameful gallery is available here. |

10K around the bay, and all the Victoria Bitter you can drink. We improved our time over last year by more than a minute. 13th out of 25 teams, and first place in the beer consumption. |

King of the World Dragon-International Dragon Boat Invitational Championship |
Shau Kei Wan Typhoon Shelter, Hong Kong |
An outstanding effort by the women! Since there was no women's category, we entered an all-women's boat in the Mixed category. Every other team entered all-men's boats (rules were not well enforced). Result: THE WOMEN TAKE SILVER! The announcer who laughed at the team before the start had to eat his words afterward. |
|
17 Oct |
Deutscher Manöver Cup (German Maneuver Cup) |
Kallang Riverside Park |
Canadians take silver! It was a tricky dragon boat obstacle course. Afterwards, it was a huge Oktoberfest mit der Deutschen Dragons. Attendance and participation at next morning's practice was...subdued. |
