Team members need not be Canadian; we currently have over a dozen nationalities on the team. We encourage anyone and everyone who is interested to give the sport a try. Our team members range in age from 12 to 61.

Training lasts for two hours per session and is held in the Kallang Basin (see map below). Generally, we practice on Saturday afternoon and Sunday morning, with Thursday night practices for most of the season. Check the Calendar for the exact days and times.

At most practices, we also have a boat for absolute beginners that goes out with an experienced coach and helmsman. Get in touch for more info.

Please bring:

• 1.5L of water
  
• Clothes and shoes that you don't mind getting wet
  
• Hat/sun block
• The completed waiver

We practice rain or shine (you're going to get wet anyway). Practice is $10 including drinks,beer and the occasional barbecue.
 

Getting there: MRT: Take the East West line to the Kallang station (EW 10). Cross over Sims Avenue & Geylang Rd and walk down Stadium Link through Kallang Riverside Park.

CAR: Take the PIE to the Kallang Ave./ Sims Ave exit, taking the flyover. Stay straight on Sims Way. After crossing over Geylang Rd, take the next right onto Nicoll Hwy. Take the first exit, National Stadium. Turn right at the stop sign and follow Stadium Road, bearing right, under Nicoll Hwy, to the dragon boat shed. The shed will be on the right, and the beach where we meet is on the left.

TAXI: Tell the driver, "Kallang Riverside Park, on Stadium Road, near Nicoll Highway. It is on the opposite side of Nicoll Highway from the National Stadium."

BUS*: Bus 2, 7, 12, 13, 32, 33, 51, 63, 67, 80, 100, 197, NR7--Get off at Kallang EW10 stop if eastbound, or the "After People's Association" stop, if westbound. Head down Stadium Link on foot into Kallang Riverside Park. Bus 21,26,31, 853, 961, 985--Get off at Geylang Lor 1, Block 8 (or opposite Block 8). Head south on Geylang Lor 1 past Sims Avenue, turn right on Geylang Rd, and walk down Stadium Link into Kallang Riverside Park.
