Hotdog Party After Practice on Sat 1 Aug
The next season will officially kick off on Sat, 1 August and to mark this special occasion, we will have a hotdog party after practice on the beach. Our cordon bleu resident chef Val has kindly agreed to prepare gourmet hotdogs from a secret recipe handed down from her great-grandmother. It's going to be a blast. So, don't miss it. Be there for practice at 3:45 pm, paddle hard and the beer and hotdogs await !

This is the race of the year! We all have been training really hard and I believe we have a really strong team. A lot of you have not only been putting your efforts in the water with our dragon boats, but also have run marathons, done land training and outrigging.
Stop Using the Crap in Your Life as an Excuse
"Nothing is ever completely bad. Even cancer. It has made me a better
person. It has given me courage and a sense of purpose I never had
before. But you don't have to do like I did...wait until you lose a leg
or get some awful disease, before you take the time to find out what
kind of stuff you're really made of. You can start now. Anybody can."
