Thanks for everyone's help on the boats this week!

Kreamer spent Tuesday afternoon oiling the wood on the gunwales and seats of both boats.  On Sunday, the Paya Lebar Kovan team washed and waxed the green boat (after they borrowed it), and the Canadian team washed and waxed the blue boat.

This is a maintenance trifecta.  Thanks again!

Congratulations to  Wann, Clement, Danny, Rosina, Ken and John for successfully completing the SDBA Basic Helmsman course.

All participants were tested on basic dragon boat maneuvering and the ability to pay $60. So, if you can tolerate 4+ hours of paddling, please be sure to sign up next time around!

This weekend will be a very busy one with Formula One on. So why not start it with a great pub crawl? We will start at the Harry's at Far East Square at 6:30 and go to Boat Quay after that. Please join us at any point. We need to hand out pamphlets and recruit recruit. I will also carry some with me as I do my walkabouts during this weekend!

I just wanted to say how very cool it was to be out at the Master's today.  It was great to have so many new paddlers get in the boat and get their "first race jitters" out of the way.

The only other expat team out there today was the Kowloon club.  We beat them in three heats, so I think it's safe to say we're are the leading expat team in this series!  The Aussies and Germans, who always make us work hard, were no-shows today. 

We'll be at the Master's Series, Race 4, Bedok Reservoir Park.

Hello All,

We started this year with a lot of paddles and lifejackets in the cage, and now we're down to 18. The team bought 10 brand-new paddles this last weekend to help with the shortage, but we'd really like to have the others back.

If you have one of the team paddles or lifejackets in your home, please bring it back. We won't be angry or abusive; we just need the gear. If you want, I'll even pick them up myslef.

Just let someone on the EXCO know that you have one.
